A 78-year-old female presented to the hospital after a fall from standing height and suffered a broken hip.

Laboratory investigations were done and revealed pancytopenia.

Bone marrow aspiration was done and the results were as shown above.

Bone marrow findings:  hypercellularity, increase mononuclear cell with increase NC ratio with fine nuclear chromatin, prominent nucleoli, presence of arrested maturation

Diagnosis:  Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) M0
